Kurdish Man Danish Sharafi Arrested Without Warrant in Sanandaj

Danish Sharafi, a 37-year-old Kurdish man from Salavatabad village, was arrested by security forces at his mobile phone shop on Sunday. Reports indicate that he was detained without an arrest warrant.

The Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reports that after his arrest, Sharafi was moved to an undisclosed location by security personnel.

As of three days after his detention, authorities have not provided any details regarding the reason for his arrest or the charges against him. Sharafi’s current whereabouts and condition remain unknown.

The arrest occurred in Sanandaj, the capital of Kurdistan province, in northwestern Iran.
