Kristina Long Arrested in Drug-Related Traffic Stop

A routine traffic stop in Aberdeen led to the arrest of Kristina Long, 41, after police discovered suspected drugs.

According to a news release from the Aberdeen Police Department, Long faces multiple charges, including felony possession of methamphetamine, driving with a revoked license, operating a vehicle without insurance, using fictitious or altered tags, driving without proper registration, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On May 28, 2024, Aberdeen patrol officers stopped Long’s vehicle for having a suspended license and fictitious tags. After the stop, Long was detained for traffic violations. During further investigation, officers found two bags of methamphetamine that were located on her person.

Long is currently held at the Moore County Detention Center without bond. Defendants facing criminal charges are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
