Kris E. Reynolds Arrested After Standoff with Putnam County Deputies

OTTAWA, Ohio — Kris E. Reynolds, 49, was arrested after a standoff with Putnam County deputies during a domestic violence incident on Sunday night.

Deputies responded to an address on Road L in Ottawa after receiving a report of an active domestic violence situation. Upon arrival, Reynolds was found to have barricaded himself inside the residence and refused to engage with officers.

The Special Response Team was called to the scene, and negotiations were conducted for several hours. Despite ongoing efforts, Reynolds continued to refuse to exit his home. After warrants were obtained, the Special Response Team entered the residence and successfully took Reynolds into custody without further incident.
