TIRANA, Albania (A2 Televizion) – The Special Court has ordered the security measure of “arrest in prison” for Kreshnik Budlla (also known as Farruku), Julian Kollçaku, and Maksim Ndoci, all accused of involvement in international drug trafficking and operating within a structured criminal group.
Budlla was arrested on Friday, while under house arrest awaiting extradition to Italy. Kollçaku and Ndoci were apprehended in November 2024. All three are linked to serious criminal activities, including cocaine trafficking.
Farruku, who was a fugitive for a time, was arrested in Spain in May 2019 alongside his brother and a relative. He was subsequently sentenced by the Court of Ancona in Italy to 6 years and 8 months for drug trafficking.
Budlla is considered the leader of the Farruku Clan, a criminal group composed largely of Albanians. The clan has been linked to a wide range of crimes, including house robberies, cocaine distribution, and other illicit activities.
