Korde Vann Arrested After Tesla Sentry Mode Captures Theft

Korde Vann, a suspect wanted for theft, was arrested after being captured on Tesla’s Sentry Mode. In January, Vann stole a $1,600 gaming computer from Tyler Murphy, a business owner who repairs and refurbishes computers. The theft took place in a parking lot after Murphy and Vann met for a supposed transaction.

Tesla’s Sentry Mode recorded the entire incident, and Vann was identified shortly afterward. Although arrested in February, Vann failed to appear in court, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. This past weekend, he was taken into custody for charges including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and failure to appear. Police also found 25 fentanyl pills in his possession.

Tesla’s Sentry Mode has helped solve numerous crimes, including vandalism and theft, by providing valuable footage that assists law enforcement. Vann has pleaded not guilty to the new charges.
