Kochi Police Arrest Three for Possession of MDMA, Seize 15 Grams

In a significant anti-narcotics operation, the Kochi City District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force arrested three individuals in two separate incidents on charges of possessing MDMA. The operation targeted the ongoing issue of drug use among local youngsters.

The first incident occurred when police apprehended Dillion Duddly (23) from Thoppumpady and Farhan (24) from Palluruthy, seizing 13.17 grams of MDMA. In the second case, Akhil Mohanan (25), a resident of Aluva, was arrested with 1.27 grams of the drug. Authorities believe the seized MDMA was intended for distribution among the youth in the region.

The arrests highlight the continued efforts of local law enforcement to curb the increasing use of illicit drugs in the community. Further investigations are underway as authorities continue to target narcotics operations in the area.
