Kiran D’Souza Arrested for MDMA Sale in Talapady, Mangaluru

In a successful operation aimed at curbing drug trafficking, the anti-drug squad of Mangaluru’s South Sub-Division arrested Kiran D’Souza, 25, from Talapady Narla Padil. D’Souza was apprehended for allegedly selling MDMA near a bar in Talapady, falling under the jurisdiction of Ullal Police Station.

The police seized 10 grams of MDMA, valued at Rs30,000, during the raid, along with a scooter and a mobile phone used in the transaction. The arrest was made following a reliable tip-off, and a case has been registered under the NDPS Act at the Ullal Police Station.

The operation was carried out by a dedicated team from the anti-drug squad, which included officers Saju Nair, Mahesh, Shivaraj, Akbar, and Tirumalesh. Authorities continue to investigate if D’Souza is connected to larger drug networks in the area.
