A Florida mother and her boyfriend have been arrested for allegedly subjecting two young boys to unspeakable abuse, leaving a 10-year-old in cardiac arrest.
Horrifying Details of the Case
Kimberley Mills, 37, and Andre Walker, 36, were arrested in February after rushing Mills’ 10-year-old son to the hospital.
The boy was covered in bruises, burn marks, and suffering from internal bleeding and possible head trauma.
Tavares police revealed the abuse involved duct tape, a six-foot ladder, a 10-pound weight, and copper wire.
Investigators believe the child was restrained, with his hands bound above his head, while a weight was dropped onto his stomach.
The younger sibling bravely described the abuse to detectives, leading authorities to ensure justice is served.
Charges & Court Appearance
Mills and Walker were charged with:
✅ Aggravated child abuse (2 counts each)
✅ Child neglect (2 counts for Mills)
✅ Accessory to aggravated child abuse (2 counts each)
✅ Tampering with evidence
Both suspects initially fled when law enforcement was called but later returned.
Judge Brian Welke called the injuries “egregious,” and both suspects are expected back in court on March 24.
The 10-year-old remains in critical condition, and authorities continue to investigate.
