HALIFAX COUNTY, Va. – A 19-year-old man was arrested on Sunday, January 12, in connection with an armed robbery that occurred earlier in the week at a Spirit convenience store in Halifax County.
Kimari Justin Lacks, of Halifax, is accused of robbing the gas station on January 9, 2025. Following the robbery, authorities conducted an investigation that led to Lacks’ arrest. He faces multiple charges, including:
Armed robbery
Use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
Wearing a mask to conceal identity
Brandishing a firearm
Concealed weapon
Lacks is being held without bond at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail while awaiting further legal proceedings. Authorities continue to investigate the case.
