The Khanna police recently seized immovable and movable properties worth Rs8.10 lakh from three drug peddlers, as part of their ongoing crackdown on illegal narcotics trade. The arrested individuals, identified as Lakhwinder Singh, alias Kami, Rinkal, and Rehman Khan, were targeted after extensive investigations into their drug peddling activities.
Lakhwinder Singh, a resident of Balmiki Mohalla in Doraha, had his residential property worth Rs2.50 lakh seized. Additionally, the police confiscated his bike valued at Rs50,000 and two air conditioners worth ₹80,000. Lakhwinder Singh is facing trial in six separate drug trafficking cases.
Rinkal, also from Balmiki Mohalla, had a residential property worth Rs1.80 lakh seized by the authorities. Meanwhile, Rehman Khan, a resident of Lakkar Mandi in Doraha, had a residential property worth Rs2.50 lakh confiscated.
The three accused have multiple cases of drug trafficking registered against them, with Lakhwinder Singh being involved in six, Rinkal in three, and Rehman Khan in two. Following the seizure, a report was submitted to the concerned authorities in Delhi, and freezing orders under Section 68-F (2) were issued to prevent any further financial transactions.
This latest operation is part of Khanna police’s continued efforts to dismantle drug trafficking networks and disrupt the illegal drug trade in the region.
