Kevin Lee Dunning Arrested on Drug Charges in Catawba County

CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. – Kevin Lee Dunning, 33, of Horseshoe Bend Road in Vale, was arrested on Saturday, November 9, by officers from the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department. Dunning faces several serious drug-related charges, including trafficking opium or heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana (up to one-half ounce), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dunning was placed in the Catawba County Detention Facility with a bond set at $18,000. A District Court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday, November 12.

Authorities continue to investigate the case, as Dunning’s arrest highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crimes in the region.
