Kevin Holland Arrested for Murder of DoorDash Driver in Fayetteville

A McDonald’s employee, Kevin Holland, has been arrested in connection to the tragic shooting death of DoorDash driver, Samori Husamudeen, in Fayetteville, North Carolina, the day after Christmas.

Holland, 25, was booked into the Cumberland County Detention Center on Friday, Dec. 27, after the fatal shooting, which occurred at a McDonald’s on Santa Fe Drive. According to reports, Husamudeen had an argument with Holland inside the restaurant before the situation escalated.

Husamudeen, who was working for DoorDash, was allegedly shot and killed by Holland during the dispute. Court records show that Holland has been charged with first-degree murder and was denied bond by a magistrate.

After a day on the run, police apprehended Holland at a Walmart in nearby Spring Lake, approximately 15 minutes from the McDonald’s.

The McDonald’s owner has expressed full cooperation with the authorities and has offered counseling services to their staff following the incident.
