Kerala Men Arrested in Rs77.96 Lakh Online Investment Fraud Case

The Mangaluru police have arrested two individuals from Kerala in connection with an online investment fraud case, where the victim lost a total of Rs77.96 lakh in 2024.

The accused, Ummar Valiya (41) and M.V. Riyaz (45), both from Kannur district in Kerala, were arrested following an investigation into the fraudulent activities. The duo allegedly tricked the victim into making large financial investments, resulting in a significant loss.

Mangaluru police have initiated further inquiries and are working to uncover the full scope of the fraudulent scheme.
