Kelvin Mitchell Arrested for Yonkers Homicide of Daquan Glen

Stamford police arrested 19-year-old Kelvin Mitchell on Wednesday in connection with a homicide that occurred last summer in Yonkers. The incident, which took place in August at Doyle Park, left Daquan Glen dead and another man injured.

This week, the Yonkers Police Department alerted Stamford police, informing them that Mitchell might be staying with a family member in Stamford. Acting on this tip, Stamford police executed a search warrant and apprehended Mitchell.

Mitchell now faces several charges from Yonkers, including murder, attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon. He has been given a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in court in Stamford on February 19.

Additionally, Stamford police revealed that a 14-year-old Stratford resident was indicted last week and is facing similar charges related to the same homicide.
