Keith Reitz Charged in Connection with Drug Delivery Resulting in Death

LYCOMING CO. (WOLF) — A Williamsport man, Keith Reitz, 60, is behind bars facing serious charges after being accused of delivering drugs that resulted in a fatal overdose.

Reitz has been charged by Pennsylvania State Police in Montoursville with criminal homicide, drug delivery resulting in death, manufacturing and delivering drugs, and criminal use of a communication facility. Court documents reveal that the victim, 46-year-old Nicole Bassett, died from an overdose on October 18, 2024. Authorities claim that Reitz provided Bassett with crack cocaine, and the two smoked it together.

Reports indicate that after smoking, Reitz left the scene when Bassett began to act strangely. Her roommate later found her unresponsive. Reitz has been denied bail and is currently being held in the Lycoming County Prison. A preliminary hearing for the case is set for April 7.
