Keith Cunningham Arrested for Armed Robbery at Walgreens in Mooresville

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) – Keith Cunningham, 31, was arrested on Tuesday after allegedly demanding opioids during an armed robbery at a Walgreens in Iredell County on January 5.

The robbery occurred at the Walgreens on River Highway near Bluefield Road when Cunningham entered the store, presented a note to the pharmacist indicating he was armed, and demanded fentanyl and oxycodone. Following an investigation, officers identified Cunningham as the suspect.

On Tuesday, January 14, police executed two search warrants in Statesville, leading to Cunningham’s arrest. He has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, and further charges are expected. Cunningham was denied bond following his arrest.
