Keddric Anderson, 31, was arrested on Thursday in connection with a series of dirt bike thefts in Baltimore County. Police say Anderson is responsible for six dirt bike thefts that occurred between November 11 and December 22, 2024. Several of the thefts involved meetings arranged through an online marketplace, where Anderson allegedly stole bikes from the victims.
In one instance, Anderson is said to have brandished a handgun during the theft. He now faces multiple charges, including assault, vehicle theft, and armed carjacking. Anderson is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
In response to the crime, Baltimore County Police reminded residents about the availability of their Transaction Safe Zones at local precincts. These zones are designed to provide a secure space for in-person transactions, including online purchases and child custody exchanges, with video recording, good lighting, and visible signage for safety.
