Kartik and Jaideep Shiroya Arrested in Rs60 Lakh Telecom Scam

A cyber police team from Ballabhgarh has arrested two individuals, Kartik and Jaideep Shiroya, both residents of Surat, Gujarat, for allegedly duping a resident of Rs60 lakh.

The victim reported that the accused posed as officials from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). They claimed the victim was involved in a money laundering case and demanded Rs60 lakh to avoid legal action. Believing the fraudsters, the victim paid the amount.

After realizing the deception, the victim lodged a complaint with the police, who successfully apprehended the duo. The police investigation is ongoing.
