Karnataka Trio Faces Legal Action for ₹58 Lakh Payment Default

The B1 Police have registered a case against three individuals from Karnataka following a complaint regarding a payment default of Rs58 lakh lodged by Shanmugaraja, a 42-year-old jeweller from K.C. Thottam.

According to the complainant, the trio—identified as Jegadeesh, Dheeraj, and Shyam—had borrowed a total of just over ₹69 lakh but had only repaid Rs11.22 lakh to date. Shanmugaraja reported that he faced intimidation from the accused when he sought repayment of the outstanding balance.

The police are currently investigating the case to determine further actions against the accused.
