Karissa Adams and Nickolas White Arrested for Bettendorf Theft

Karissa Adams, 43, and Nickolas White Sr., 47, from Davenport, were arrested after police say they were caught on camera stealing a 75-inch television and a Weber grill from a Bettendorf home. The incident took place on November 2 at a residence located in the 7000 block of Grove Crossing.

According to the criminal complaint, the suspects entered the home by removing the screen from a front window, then loaded stolen items into a Lincoln Nautilus SUV. The duo later returned to the house in the same vehicle, which was followed by the victim’s Jeep Wrangler, valued at about $15,000.

After the victim provided a list of stolen items, including the TV, Weber grill, military medals, and personal paperwork, officers executed a search warrant at Adams’ residence in Davenport. They found several of the stolen items, including the TV, grill, and a checkbook with the victim’s name.

Adams has been charged with multiple felony counts, including burglary and theft, and was released on her own recognizance. White faces similar felony charges and remains in jail on a $10,000 bond. Both suspects are scheduled for preliminary hearings in Scott County Court.
