Karen Hyler Arrested in Okaloosa County on Multiple Drug Charges

A 60-year-old Florida woman, Karen Hyler, was arrested in Okaloosa County on charges including possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of cocaine, trafficking fentanyl, and public nuisance. She was also wanted for grand theft auto.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at Hyler’s home, where they found fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. Neighbors had reported frequent traffic at her home, and multiple drug overdoses, including fatal ones, had been linked to the location.

Hyler remains in custody at the Okaloosa County Jail as she awaits a hearing.
