Kansas City Man Arrested for Alleged Meth Distribution in Osage County

Osage County, Kan. (WIBW) — A Kansas City man was arrested on Monday, Dec. 2, for alleged methamphetamine distribution following a traffic stop in Osage County.

At around 11:45 a.m., an Osage County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit pulled over a vehicle at milepost 165 on I-35 for a traffic violation. After deploying a narcotics-detecting K-9, officers discovered illegal drugs.

Justin C. Barnhart, 43, of Kansas City, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail. He faces charges including suspicion of methamphetamine distribution, possession of drug paraphernalia, and an outstanding arrest warrant.
