Kannamangalam Police Arrest S. Devikala for Strangling Mother-in-Law

The Kannamangalam police arrested S. Devikala, a 25-year-old woman, on Sunday for allegedly strangling her mother-in-law, R. Govindammal, at her house in Kalasamudram village, near Arani.

According to the police, S. Devikala, a resident of Tiruvannamalai, was married to R. Serallan (29) and had two daughters. The couple lived with Serallan’s mother, R. Govindammal (51). Govindammal had two daughters who are settled in Vellore and Kannamangalam towns. The police have arrested Devikala in connection with the brutal incident.
