Kamron Lewis Arrested for Armed Robbery in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The suspect in an armed robbery outside The Cookshack restaurant was arrested on December 18 after being recognized by a College Station police officer.

According to the College Station Police Department (CSPD), the suspect, 17-year-old Kamron Lewis of College Station, had visited with an officer the night before the robbery occurred. When detectives reviewed surveillance footage from the scene of the robbery, the officer identified Lewis, leading to his arrest.

On the morning of December 17, Lewis allegedly approached a Cookshack employee outside the restaurant, pressed a gun into her back, and demanded her property. He then fired a shot into the air before fleeing the scene.

Lewis remains in jail as of December 19, held on a $200,000 bond. He faces charges related to the armed robbery.
