Juan Jose Barrientos Arrested for Theft in Palmview

CALLEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man wanted for theft after allegedly scamming a customer has been arrested. Juan Jose Barrientos, 39, was apprehended in McAllen on Tuesday for a crime he committed in Palmview this past July.

According to the Palmview Police Department, Barrientos is accused of accepting a payment of $3,300 to build a fence but never completed the work, despite receiving the payment.

Hidalgo County Jail records indicate that Barrientos has been issued a bond of $90,000 for this crime and for previous warrants.
