Joshua Ratliff Arrested for Gun and Drug Offenses in Aberdeen

A 26-year-old man from Aberdeen, identified as Joshua Ratliff, was arrested on June 23 after police were called to a local business due to reports of him harassing customers.

Aberdeen Police Chief Brian Chavis stated in a press release that Ratliff is facing several serious charges, including possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed handgun, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as felony probation and parole violations.

Upon police arrival, Ratliff was found inside the business and appeared to be under the influence. He was discovered with suspected oxycodone, a handgun, and various drug paraphernalia.

The specific name of the business and further details regarding the harassment incident have not been disclosed.

Ratliff is currently being held at the Moore County Detention Center under a secured bond of $25,000, with an additional $10,000 secured bond for his felony probation and parole violations. He is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
