Joshua Kerzman and Charles Holzer Arrested in Bismarck Assault Case

Bismarck police arrested two men following an attack on Monday afternoon near north 31st street. Plainclothes officer witnessed three men assaulting another man, during which one attacker struck the victim’s head with a wooden club.

Joshua Kerzman was charged with one felony count of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault, while Charles Holzer faces two felony counts including aggravated assault. Both appeared in Burleigh County court on Tuesday, where their bond was set at $30,000.

The victim suffered a large head cut and was treated at a Bismarck hospital. Authorities have issued a warrant for the third suspect involved in the incident.

Police continue to investigate the attack.
