Joseph Ray Batchelor Arrested for Disseminating Obscenity to Minor

A 28-year-old man from Craven County, Joseph Ray Batchelor, has been arrested on charges of disseminating obscenity to a minor. Batchelor, from Tuscarora Rhems Rd., was taken into custody by the Craven County Criminal Investigators after being charged with a felony for the dissemination of obscene material to a minor.

Batchelor is currently being held under a secured bond, which will be determined by the Magistrate. Authorities have confirmed that the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges may be forthcoming.

The District Attorney’s Office will be involved as the case develops, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
