SARATOGA COUNTY, NY — Joseph Nunez, a 50-year-old man from Lake Luzerne, was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office following an arrest warrant issued for him. Nunez is accused of stealing merchandise from the Wilton Walmart on March 22, 2025, despite having been previously banned from the store.
On Friday, April 11th, Nunez was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary (a class D felony) and petit larceny (a class A misdemeanor).
He was arraigned in Wilton Town Court and released pending further court proceedings. The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the charges do not qualify for bail under the New York State laws enacted in January 2020.
