Joseph David Uhlenhake Arrested for Suspended License After Crash

A 43-year-old man from Ocala, Florida, was arrested on Thursday after a minor accident on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 near Cracker Barrel. Joseph David Uhlenhake was driving a blue 2018 Dodge Ram when the incident occurred at approximately 10 a.m.

During the investigation, deputies discovered that Uhlenhake’s driver’s license had been suspended. Records show he has prior convictions for both driving with a suspended license and driving under the influence. Additionally, Uhlenhake was wanted for unpaid child support under a warrant from Marion County.

He was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of driving with a suspended license and issued a ticket for careless driving related to the crash. Uhlenhake was booked into the Sumter County Detention Center with a bond set at $500.
