Jorian Jackson Arrested for Murder of Nacogdoches Woman

TYLER, Texas — Jorian Jackson, 29, of Plano, was arrested on January 23 in connection with the shooting death of 26-year-old Cheyenne Russell from Nacogdoches.

Russell’s body was discovered on January 6 in an apartment, where she had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Jackson was taken into custody at his grandparents’ home, located on Hwy 31 east of Tyler. He was arrested without incident on a murder warrant, which carries a $1 million bond.

Tyler police also questioned Jackson’s grandparents in relation to the case, which remains under investigation.
