Jordan Parke Arrested After Woman Dies Following Butt Lift Procedure

Jordan Parke, a beautician famously known as the ‘Lip King,’ has been arrested by Gloucestershire Police in connection with the tragic death of Alice Webb, a 33-year-old mother of five. Webb, who underwent a liquid Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) procedure at Parke’s clinic, Studio 23 in Gloucester, reportedly fell ill and passed away at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital in the early hours of a Tuesday morning.

The procedure, which involves injecting hyaluronic acid and dermal fillers into the backside, has come under scrutiny from medical experts due to safety concerns. Webb’s death marks the first known fatality linked to a liquid BBL in the UK.

Parke, who has appeared on ITV’s This Morning and Channel 4’s Bodyshockers, is known for his advocacy of cosmetic surgery and has frequently discussed his own numerous procedures, including four nose jobs and 50 other enhancements. Despite his legal troubles, he remains active on social media, continuing to promote his clinic and his belief in plastic surgery.

Webb’s partner, Dane Knight, expressed deep sorrow over her passing on Facebook, thanking friends and family for their support during the difficult time. He also asked people to be considerate of his children, who are deeply affected by the loss.

A GoFundMe campaign was briefly set up to support Knight and Webb’s children but was later removed. The investigation into Webb’s death and Parke’s involvement continues, as he has been released on bail pending further inquiries.

The incident has sparked widespread concerns about the safety of cosmetic procedures like liquid BBL, with experts urging caution when considering such treatments.
