Jordache Leach Arrested for Armed Robbery at Southern Pines Dollar General

Southern Pines, N.C. – A 43-year-old man, Jordache Leach, was arrested in connection with an armed robbery at a Dollar General store in Southern Pines. Leach faces serious charges, including robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony larceny, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

According to Southern Pines Deputy Police Chief Charles Campbell, the incident occurred on December 9, 2024, at 1215 Old US 1 Highway, when Leach entered the store armed with a weapon and demanded money. After taking an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene.

The Southern Pines Police Department’s Patrol and Investigation Divisions, in collaboration with the United States Marshals Service, located Leach on December 12 in the 400 block of Shaw Avenue. He was arrested and taken into custody without incident.

Leach is currently held at the Moore County Detention Center without bond and is scheduled for a court appearance on January 8, 2025.
