Jonny and Dennyeil Contreras Arrested in Pike County Drug Bust

DINGMAN TWP., PIKE COUNTY — Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a major drug bust in Pike County, where authorities seized significant quantities of drugs, firearms, and cash.

On January 14, 2024, the Pike County District Attorney’s Unlawful Narcotics Investigation Team (U.N.I.T.) executed a search warrant at a residence in the Conashaugh Lakes community of Dingman Township. The search resulted in the confiscation of approximately 20 pounds of marijuana, various prescription pills, a large quantity of THC vapes and gummies, several mushrooms, firearms, and over $30,000 in cash.

Jonny Contreras, 36, and Dennyeil Contreras, 47, both of Milford, were arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses. Authorities noted that two children were residing in the home at the time of the raid. Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin commented that many of the THC vapes appeared to have packaging designed to appeal to children, further raising concerns about the nature of the operation.

The investigation continues as authorities work to determine the full scope of the drug operation.
