Jonathan Melton and James Tindall Charged in Grenada Substation Theft

GRENADA, Miss. (WTVA) — Two men have been arrested after allegedly stealing items from an Entergy substation in Grenada County. The suspects were identified by the Grenada County Sheriff’s Office as Jonathan Melton and James Tindall.

The theft took place at a new Entergy substation located on American Way, near the newly built Milwaukee Tool plant. The sheriff’s office received the report of the theft on Tuesday morning, February 25.

After an investigation, law enforcement officers located the stolen property in a vehicle on Carrollton Road. The vehicle belonged to Jonathan Melton, and James Tindall was implicated in the theft.

Both men have been charged with commercial burglary in connection to the crime.
