PLYMOUTH, N.C. – Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with a 2023 murder and robbery in Plymouth. The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) reports that on November 1, 2023, the Plymouth Police Department requested assistance in investigating the murder of Curtis Hamilton, who was killed during an apparent robbery at 207 Brinkley Avenue.
The SBI’s investigation revealed that one of the alleged attackers was also killed during the robbery. Following a grand jury’s True Bill of Indictment, 19-year-old Jonathan Machie of Wanchese was arrested on Monday, and 18-year-old Paul Duson III was arrested on Wednesday. Both teens are now being held in the Washington County Jail, facing charges related to the murder and robbery of Hamilton.
