Johnson Ouseph Arrested in Athira’s Murder, Remanded in Custody

Johnson Ouseph, the primary suspect in the murder of Athira in Kadinamkulam, has been remanded to judicial custody following his arrest early on Tuesday. The accused, who had been receiving treatment at the Government Medical College Hospital in Kottayam after allegedly ingesting poison before his arrest, was transferred to the Kadinamkulam police station around 2:30 a.m.

Ouseph was reportedly under medical care due to suspicions that he attempted suicide before being apprehended several days ago. His arrest now marks a significant development in the investigation of Athira’s tragic death.
