Jogi Rajiv and Surveyor Arrested in AgriGold Land Scam

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials have arrested Jogi Rajiv, son of former Minister Jogi Ramesh, along with Vijayawada Rural Mandal Surveyor Ajmer Ramesh, in connection with the alleged AgriGold land scam.

According to ACB reports, the accused, along with Ambapuram village Surveyor K. Dedeepya, fraudulently registered 2,160 square yards of litigant land using fake documents and subsequently sold it to others. This investigation was initiated following a complaint lodged by Avva Venkata Seshu Narayana Rao, a member of the AgriGold Group of Companies. The ACB has registered a case under Section 17 (A) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, and the Central Investigation Unit (CIU) is leading the probe.
