On March 11, 2025, at approximately 6:35 AM, Idaho County Dispatch received a call regarding a family dispute in the Kamiah area.
Both individuals involved left the residence in separate vehicles before Idaho County deputies located them along the road. K9 Millie, a police dog, alerted deputies to one of the vehicles, leading to a search.
Charges Against JoEllen Barnes
Following the search, JoEllen Barnes, 42, was arrested and charged with:
Felony possession of methamphetamine
Misdemeanor possession of marijuana
Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia
Cited for misdemeanor battery
