Jodhpur Man Arrested for ₹12 Lakh Cryptocurrency Scam

A man from Jodhpur has been arrested for allegedly defrauding a 34-year-old engineer from Usmanpur, Delhi, of nearly Rs12 lakh. The fraudster promised high returns on investments in cryptocurrency and the stock market through various online platforms, according to Delhi police.

The accused has been identified as Subhash Bishnoi, 24, an alumnus of Jodhpur University. Authorities recovered three mobile phones, five SIM cards, 16 debit and credit cards, and two cheque books from his possession.

The investigation is ongoing as police look into the extent of the scam and potential other victims.
