Jitendra Yadav, Darshan Kamle Held in Rs25L Indore Theft Case

The Juni Indore Police arrested two men—Jitendra Yadav and Darshan Kamle (21)—in connection with a high-value theft of gold jewellery worth Rs25 lakh and Rs20,000 cash from a locked flat in Saifi Nagar, Indore.

The complaint was filed by Tahir Ali Hussain, a relative of homeowner Shabbir Hussain, who resides in Dubai. The theft was discovered on April 28 by domestic help Asha Bai, who noticed broken locks during her routine cleaning visit to the flat at Badshah Empire.

According to police, Jitendra Yadav, an MBA student originally from Vidisha, and Darshan Kamle, from Chhota Bangarda, had visited the flat five months earlier under the guise of painters. During the job, Yadav observed the homeowner’s extended absence and conspired with Kamle to commit the burglary.

The Juni Indore police, under the leadership of local investigators, examined 150–200 CCTV footages, conducted fingerprint analysis, and followed up on technical evidence and local intelligence. The suspects initially tried to mislead police by handing over fake gold, but intense interrogation led to the recovery of the original stolen jewellery and cash.
