Jhoan Enrique Mina Lopez Arrested in Connection to 2024 Farmington Burglary

FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A third suspect, Jhoan Enrique Mina Lopez, 28, was arrested on Saturday, January 4, in connection with a home burglary that occurred in May 2024 in Farmington, police reported.

The burglary took place on Mountain Spring Road, where a homeowner called 911 after hearing the sound of a rear window breaking. Upon police arrival, officers found a broken window and a damaged screen, but no suspects were located inside the home.

Through a subsequent investigation, police were able to identify multiple suspects involved in the crime.

Earlier, two individuals had already been arrested in connection with the burglary. Misael Agustin De La Colina Palomino, 32, and Ninoska Bravo Valencia, 27, were charged in relation to the thefts. Police believe the duo had been targeting affluent communities across Connecticut for years, and they are suspected to be connected to a South American theft group.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to piece together more information on the suspects and their criminal network.
