Salisbury, N.C. — Jeremy Good, owner of Lebleu Towing and Salvage, was arrested on January 30, 2025, and charged with title fraud in connection with the theft of a 1967 Camaro. The vehicle belonged to Tim McManus, who accused Good of stealing the car while he was incarcerated in 2022.
The incident began when McManus was stopped on September 30, 2022, for allegedly driving without a valid license. His Camaro was towed by Lebleu Towing. McManus attempted to retrieve the car after hours but was caught and charged. His car was returned to the tow yard, but after his second release from jail, McManus arranged for a friend to pay the tow fees and retrieve the car.
However, while McManus was incarcerated again on unrelated charges, deputies claim his friend returned the Camaro to the tow yard, where it was allegedly sold to Good for the amount McManus owed.
Good later submitted forged documents to the Rowan and Cabarrus County Clerk’s Offices, claiming ownership of the Camaro and asserting that nearly $7,300 in fees were owed to him. Investigations revealed discrepancies in his claims, and body-worn camera footage showed that the car was in the tow yard well before the dates Good had indicated.
Good faces multiple charges, including uttering a forged instrument, obtaining property by false pretense, and altering/forging a title. He was issued a $30,000 bond and remains in custody.
