Jeramie Lloyd Benjamin, 37, was arrested in connection with the burglary of a New Iberia business.
On October 15, the New Iberia Police Department responded to a burglary report in the 700 block of East Admiral Doyle Drive. During the investigation, Benjamin, a former employee of the business, was identified as a suspect.
Benjamin was arrested on Friday and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges of simple burglary.
No bond details have been released at this time.
