Jennifer Henry Charged with Embezzling Hockey Funds

A team manager for a minor hockey team in Durham Region has been charged with theft after allegedly misappropriating funds meant for team expenses. Jennifer Henry, a 42-year-old from Port Perry, is accused of embezzling money intended for the North Durham Minor Hockey Association during the 2023-2024 hockey season.

The investigation concluded with Henry’s arrest on August 20, 2024. She is facing a charge of fraud over $5,000 and has been released on an undertaking.
