Jeaustin Jesus Calderon Cerdas Arrested in Savannah Homicide

Savannah, GA — Jeaustin Jesus Calderon Cerdas, 21, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred on Monday night, marking the first homicide of the year in Savannah.

Savannah Police Department (SPD) officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at around 10:54 p.m. on White Bluff Road. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a stab wound. Despite efforts to assist, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

After an initial investigation, detectives took Cerdas into custody, charging him with murder. The investigation is still ongoing.
