OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL — Deputies have arrested Javaris Lamonte Florestial in connection with an armed robbery at a local motel.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, the victim reported that he was speaking with a woman in the motel parking lot when Florestial confronted him, claiming the woman was his girlfriend. Despite the victim apologizing, Florestial allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded he empty his pockets before burglarizing his vehicle and stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victim fled and alerted law enforcement.
On March 25, detectives located and arrested Florestial near the same area. At the time of his arrest, he was found in possession of trafficking quantities of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Charges Against Florestial
Florestial faces multiple felony charges, including:
Robbery with a firearm
Aggravated assault with intent to commit a felony
Burglary to a conveyance while armed
Grand theft
Narcotics trafficking violations
Florestial was transported to Osceola County Jail, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with further information to contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
