Jason Joel Ortiz, 17, of Norcross, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of 16-year-old Jose Yahir Batz, which occurred on November 8. The Gwinnett County Police Department announced that Ortiz has been charged with felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies.
