James Edwards & Chase Vandyne Arrested in Guernsey County Drug Bust

GUERNSEY COUNTY, OH — James Edwards, 47, and Chase Vandyne, 35, both of Cambridge, are currently in custody at the Guernsey County Jail after their arrest on multiple drug-related charges on Thursday.

According to the Guernsey County Sheriff’s Office, the two men were stopped on Interstate 77 in Cambridge, where deputies discovered a significant quantity of narcotics, including suspected fentanyl and methamphetamine, as well as U.S. currency and drug paraphernalia.

The traffic stop was part of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation, which connects the distribution of drugs from the Columbus area to Guernsey County, where they were allegedly being sold.
