Jamarion Brown Arrested for Robbery and Drug Trafficking in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Lexington teen was arrested Wednesday in connection with a robbery that occurred on Palumbo Drive. The incident was reported at approximately 4:30 p.m. near Palumbo Drive and Bainbridge Drive.

According to the Lexington Police Department, the suspect, armed with a firearm, robbed the victim of an undisclosed sum of money before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. Officers quickly responded to the situation, locating the suspect’s vehicle and arresting the individual involved.

The suspect was identified as Jamarion Brown, 18, who now faces several charges, including:

First-degree robbery
Third-degree fleeing/evading
First-degree trafficking of a controlled substance
Second-degree trafficking of a controlled substance
First-degree possession of a controlled substance
Tampering with physical evidence
Brown is currently in police custody awaiting further legal proceedings. The Lexington Police Department is continuing its investigation into the robbery and other potential charges.
